A fractured fairy tale that takes readers on a roller-coaster ride of an adventure, The Fairy Tale Detectives is a great read for any fantasy or adventure fan. The plot has wild twists and turns, with hilarious events and histerical characters. A page-turner for sure!

Orphans Sabrina and Daphne Grimm have no idea what’s in for them when they are sent to live with there grandmother, who they believed was dead. The eccentric old woman tells the girls tales of how fairy tales are really true accounts of magical happenings, and it is the destiny of all Grimms to keep peace in the magical side of the world. While young Daphne accepts the stories with an open mind, Sabrina is convinced the woman is insane and makes plans to run away. Little does Sabrina know that old Grandma Grimm is telling them nothing but the truth, and that a huge problem – namely, a giant – is wreaking havoc throughout the magical and mundane worlds. Now it is the girl’s job to stop the giant, find the culprit, and rescue their grandmother, who may be a key to their survival. The Grimm sisters must also find out what REALLY happened to their parents, so that they can be saved.
